I Can't Stand The Rain (Live)
Ann with her biggest hit ( commercially anyway. Everything she does falls in this category for me !) With Red Dog Band this time.
[You Keep Me] Hanging On (Live)
Ann Peebles is a singer I've always got time for! Here is a version of one of her most famous songs with a different band. The Red Dog Band.

Mary Love - Lay This Burden Down
Mary Love again. Can understand why she was popular on the Northern Soul dance scene!
I Want to Talk About You
I believe this lady will go far To people who say Jazz is dead I say listen to Gabrielle Cavassa and you'll change your mind. Born in California with Italian heritage she moved to New Orleans where she has become part of the Jazz scene and has already won the Sarah Vaughan award for Jazz. Now 30 years old she has produced her first album.

Love Unlimited - I Belong To You
These three beautiful ladies are Glodene James, Linda James (sisters) and their cousin Diane Taylor who formed Love Unlimited. They sang with Barry White's 40 piece Love Unlimited orchestra from 1969 until 1982 when they disbanded to seek solo careers. Glodene married Barry and they had 7 children. This track went to number one for them.
Beverley Knight - Queen of Starting Over live GMTV 111007
Dr. Beverley Knight DBE live with a great favourite of mine. Love the way she uses her arms to support the words she sings. In addition to the honours mentioned she also was given the Freedom of the City of Wolverhampton where she hails from. That is a very high honour in the UK. She dedicated it to all the people she advocates for.
