The Orlons - The Wah Watusi

These people are Rosetta Hightower, Shirley Brickley, Marlena Davis and Stephen Caldwell. They were a group from Philadelphia Who formed in 1960. This number went to number 2 on the Billboard hot 100 and was certified gold. I can see why! Who can sit down with this playing?

The Pointer Sisters / Cloudburst + Old Songs (Live 1974)

Some fantastic footage of the Pointer Sisters. Really shows their excellent sense of harmony and musicality. Four different voices but they can bring them together perfectly. No wonder. They've been doing it since they were kids! Some fantastic footage of the Pointer Sisters. Really shows their excellent sense of harmony and musicality. RIP Bonnie Pointer performing More and More 1979

The late Bonnie Pointer performing a song she loved. A slower pace than a lot of Pointer work but it showcases her talent as a singer. The base guitar here is great. Trying to find out who is playing.

One Day I'll Fly Away - Vesta Williams (1984)

Vesta again with a song that is strongly associated with Randy Crawford. Written by Joe Sample. This is a great version!
