Kim Weston with a Simon and Garfunkel hit. Very mature voice. She should have been Motown's anchor megastar but they did not know how to utilise her very powerful delivery which was more suited to the adult market.

The Sound of Silence
Carmen Mercedes McRae was born in 1920 to immigrant parents from Jamaica and was strongly influenced by Billie Holiday. she had a 5 decade career and sang with many big name bands at Jazz Festival worldwide. Nominated several times for Grammy she won two major awards in 1993 and 1994, which sadly was the year of her death from a stroke.Rest in Peace Carmen.
