the mirettes - to love somebody
Robbie Montgomery, Venetta Fields and Jessie Smith were initially members of the Ikettes who backed Ike and Tina Turner, but left after Ike chose different Ikettes to go on tour with. They formed this group called the Mirettes in 1966 and had a number of hits with various companies. They broke up in 1971. This song was a hit for The Bee Gees and I have Carla Thomas' version too.

Carla with a number originally performed by the Bee Gees. Lovely clear voice and a nice tempo. Nice picture of Carla too. She always has a great smile!
