Samantha Fish -- Shake 'Em on Down -- up close at Chan's

This is 36 year old Samantha Fish who plays her version of the Blues on some highly innovative looking guitars at times! But that is what she is all about, innovation and experimentation. The videos she puts out are great. No silly stuff you see these days, just real people making real music, down to details of finger action. We are going to hear a lot from her in the future I think.

Samantha Fish - Sucker Born - Don Odells Legends

Samantha again with a guitar reminiscent of some of those wonderful Bo Diddley creations!

Born in 1959 in the Bronx to steelworker father.she did some serious acting at an early age in Roots and also Guyana, the Jim Jones tragedy. It was Flashdance which shot her to international recognition. Also starred with Diahann Caroll and Rosalind Cash in the Medgar Evans story. Sadly she died in 2022 of heart problems at her home in Largo Florida. Rest in Peace Irene.
