Blinky Williams - I Wouldn't Change The Man He Is

Sondra ( Blinky ) Williams Was born in Oakland Cf in 1944. Her father was a church pastor and not surprisingly she started her singing career in the church choir, at the age of 6. She recorded an album with Atlantic but then moved to Motown where she did some solo work and then then duet work with Edwin Starr. The former material was largely relegated to the "vault" and the latter was not really well promoted.She returned to Gospel as Sondra Williams And it was only in 2019 when Real Gone Music published a 2 cd Anthology of some Motown stuff that had been in the vault that her really great solo Soul voice was shown to the world.
